Kevin,
You may have a drivers door lock alarm contact switch going bad. They aren't very expensive ($28 or so), or difficult to install..... once you get the interior door panel off.

Here is a way to test this to be sure.

Unplug the main door wiring connector located under the far left of the drivers side storage shelf (just above the hood release), lock and unlock your passenger door to for sure disable the alarm, and see if the problem occurs again.

If the alarm stops "acting up" it is most likely the contact switch.
