Fog Lights, Wiring Mod for Full-Time, S4

If you want the fog lights on all the time when the ignition is on and the fog light switch is on you can jumper between fuse #43 and fuse # 4. You can pull the fuses, insert spade lug adapters, (RadioShack, etc.) that have a male connector with a female connector above it and another male sticking out more or less at a right angle. You have to put two of these adapters into each fuse socket so you can then plug the fuse into the female connectors and then make up a jumper using two female terminals, preferably with an insulating cover over them. The ones that have the wire coming out at a right angle to the female terminal work nicely. Before you put the fuse back in, turn on the ignition and find out whether the top or the bottom of fuse # 4 is hot, I don't remember which is but the jumper goes on the hot terminal there. The other end of the jumper goes on the connection to fuse #43 that is hot with the light switch on and the fuse removed. This has some interesting side effects: you can open the windows and do some other things with the parking light switch on even though the key is not in the ignition. I've been driving the car like this for awhile now without any ill effects. Good Luck.
