Met up with a Lambo today

Met up with a Lambo today

While sitting at a traffic light today I heard a rather interesting growling/rumbling approach from behind. Into the vacant lane to my right eases a platinum Lambo Countach 500QV (being a complete car nut, drooling began spontaneously.) I slid back the sunroof and shut down the stereo to get a better listen to those 12 exotic Italian pistons doing their thing. All too quickly, the light came green and I noticed something odd: the Lambo driver was very hesitant on starting off. I had a minivan ahead of me that took off with as much gusto as it could muster (so I guess you could say that Germany and Italy's finest were left in the dust by a Kiddie hauler...) The Lambo scooted out a bit quicker once it finally got in motion, so I had room to slide in behind it. We both roared down the road for a couple blocks until we met up with traffic again. The Countach popped into a gap in the left lane (neat to see such a wide/low car changing lanes.) I was going to keep up the spirited pace as much as the other cars would permit, but some miscreant in a Chevy muscle car of some sort had seen us and was cutting back and forth through the cars to catch up. The Chevy cut someone off and forced his way in behind the Lambo at the next light (I was probably 5 cars back by now, not being childish enough to cut in and out of traffic) At the light, the Chevy was RIGHT up almost touching the Lamborghini's tail and revving his engine as such drivers seem want to do. When the light changed, I actually was through the intersection before either of those two: the Lambo stalled it :) As soon as they were in motion however, they both slalomed back and forth and roared away. I must be getting too old, or am just too reserved since I turned left into Target and went on with my shopping...
